Mini-Circuits Life

Much of our business centers around the manufacturing, design, and shipping of our products and the people who make these processes tick, but it all starts in one crucial place: the Receiving and Kit Room departments at our facility in Brooklyn, New York.

Brooklyn, we had an amazing time at BayFest 2023! Mini-Circuits was proud to sponsor this year’s legendary block party in our backyard of Sheepshead Bay.

Mini-Circuits has a long history of supporting our community, both locally and in the RF and microwave industry at large. Recently at our Brooklyn facilities, we hosted an impressive group of students from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam who were looking to get real-world exposure to business practices on their trip to New York.

Virtually every product assembled in North America passes through the Production Test department, many thousands of units in a typical week. Every production run must meet strict test requirements to ensure consistent performance and reliability across lots, and team members are equipped with the technical skills and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure our parts do what we say they do.

As a test engineer in Carlsbad, Ruchir helps develop important solutions for Mini-Circuits’ growing MMIC design hub. He also manages to find time for long dog walks, power lifting, beer brewing, and family.

In honor of women’s history month this past March, Mini-Circuits SWE hosted a scavenger hunt across our U.S.-based locations. Participants were grouped into teams of up to five people from different office locations to find as many items on the list as possible. The hunt a fun way to acknowledge women’s history month and served as a great team bonding activity for all involved.

As the summer months approach, Mini-Circuits members gear up for another great baseball season! Mini-Circuits has been the proud sponsor of our local team, the Brooklyn Cyclones, for over 20 years in support of the local community and cultural activities. The sponsorship not only provides support for the Cyclones and their upcoming season, but offers our members a unique opportunity to attend games.

The shipping team at Mini-Circuits’ Deer Park, Long Island facility processed over 100,000 orders and over 200,000 unique line items in the 2022 calendar year. That’s almost 400 orders picked, packed and shipped from the warehouse every business day, all year...
