On August, 5, Mini-Circuits team members banded together to throw a long-term veteran, Paresh Desai (Receiving Coordinator) a well-deserved surprise birthday party. Having been at the company for 28 years, the team felt that it was high time that they show their appreciation for all the hard work and dedication he has shown over the years.
The party was held in the downstairs section of the Knapp Street facility in Brooklyn, NY. Paresh was lead, unknowingly, downstairs by Judy DeJoie (Kit Room Supervisor) where he was certainly surprised to see many team members waiting to wish him a happy birthday. Everyone assembled clapped for and congratulated him and presented Paresh with an eggless cake since he is vegetarian. In addition to the cake, there was an assortment of pastries, fruits, salad and chilled cranberry juice.
Those who attended seemed to be very excited and enjoyed spending time with Paresh and their fellow colleagues. Paresh was also very pleased with the party and felt glad that his friends and coworkers were thinking of him on that special day. The small event was certainly a success and the culture and support that our team shows its members is unparalleled.
