Rich Osse’s career path speaks to his dedication, adaptability, and desire to make a lasting impact. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), Rich transitioned into the fast-paced world of supply chain management, where he’s been steadily building his expertise. As a strategic sourcing manager at Mini-Circuits, Rich applies his supply chain knowledge to help maintain the best suppliers and materials to support the company’s diverse range of products.
Rich’s time in the USMC instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. “The Marines gave me a clear understanding of the importance of structure and decision-making under pressure,” he said. “The experience shaped me in ways that have carried over into every aspect of my life.”

After completing his service, Rich transitioned into the civilian workforce, drawn to the supply chain sector. He began his career at a defense contractor, where he quickly grasped the responsibility of managing supplier relationships in a professional environment. His next step took him to a leading global defense technology company, where he worked as a senior buyer. There, Rich applied his military discipline to rapidly evolving procurement needs, earning the trust of his team and advancing into increasingly senior roles.
Rich then moved to a high-growth company specializing in electronic products, where he further honed his ability to manage a diverse supply chain. It was here that he developed the strategy and problem-solving skills that would serve him well in his next opportunity—at Mini-Circuits.
“I saw Mini-Circuits as the perfect place to apply my background,” Rich said. “I have the chance to help shape the company’s success while working in a setting that prioritizes collaboration and creative problem-solving.”
At Mini-Circuits, Rich’s role focuses on developing long-term supplier relationships and strategies that align with the company’s evolving needs. His day-to-day includes overseeing the procurement of critical materials, negotiating favorable terms, and identifying new suppliers to diversify the supply chain and mitigate risks. Rich is dedicated to helping Mini-Circuits meet the ever-growing demand for its high-quality products.
Mini-Circuits’ supportive company culture is one of the key reasons Rich finds his role energizing. He enjoys contributing to the company’s ability to deliver for customers. “The people here are driven by the same goal, and there’s a lot of positive energy,” he said. “We work together, share ideas, and collaborate on solutions.” Rich appreciates the Mini-Circuits’ emphasis on teamwork, which enables him to take ownership of his role and identify decisions that benefit the entire team.
The values Rich adopted during his time in the Marines—honor, courage, and commitment—serve as a compass for both his personal and professional life. “Honor means doing what’s right, even when no one is watching,” he said. “Courage is about stepping out of my comfort zone to gain new skills and knowledge, and commitment means staying focused and working to achieve the goals we set.”
Rich’s impact is actively shaping the future of the company’s supply chain. By strengthening partnerships, optimizing processes, and continuously evaluating opportunities for improvement, Rich is helping to position Mini-Circuits for sustainable growth and long-term success.
Looking ahead, Rich is excited about the future opportunities at Mini-Circuits. “I’m proud to be part of an organization that is committed to innovation and quality,” he said. “It’s fulfilling to know that we’re contributing to the greater good that our customers build every day across countless industries.” Outside of work, Rich enjoys a variety of activities. Whether it’s hiking, fishing, or spending time in the gym, he values staying active and maintaining balance in his life. These personal interests, coupled with his passion for supply chain management, give him the energy and focus to continue driving results and relationships at Mini-Circuits.
