Brooklyn, NY, November 26, 2025 – Mini-Circuits is proud to announce the appointment of Joseph Merenda as the company’s first Research & Development Fellow, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s long-term commitment to engineering excellence and technical innovation.

The Fellow role will be a cornerstone of Mini-Circuits’ strategy to develop next-generation technologies, foster collaboration across engineering disciplines, and deepen the company’s technical leadership in the RF and microwave industry.
A 40-year industry veteran, Merenda is widely recognized for his contributions to RF and microwave system design, product innovation, and technical leadership. He has served in senior engineering roles across multiple organizations, authored numerous technical papers, webinars, and filed several patents. Since joining Mini-Circuits in 2017, Merenda has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s product line and shaping its technology roadmap.

As a resident thought leader and a mentor to Mini-Circuits engineers, Merenda’s appointment establishes a formal foundation for more Fellows to emerge as the organization continues to grow.
