The Annual IEEE Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON) was held from April 14 to 15 at Cocoa Beach, Florida. This year, Mini-Circuits was proud to be a Platinum sponsor of the event to continue our support and long-standing relationship with the University of South Florida (USF) and their WAMI Center. This facility is aimed at educating students about the RF and microwave industry, and continuing to bring new talent into the field.

The WAMI Center of USF is dedicated to research and discovery in the RF/microwave/communications areas to give students an opportunity to get to know these diverse and constantly expanding fields. Mini-Circuits has long been a supporter of USF and the WAMI Center in particular, as it was our late founder, Harvey Kaylie’s passion to continuously support the growth and development of new talent at every level of learning.

The IEEE WAMICON event is held in support of USF’s WAMI Center and its mission to bring awareness of the RF and microwave industry to young engineers. At the conference, Mini-Circuits was able to display some of our latest and greatest products and capabilities, as well as network with leaders in the field as well as aspiring engineers. We’re already looking forward to next year.
