On December 8, the Florida team held its Year End Celebration at Sapphire Ballroom, a full-service luxury banquet hall located in Hialeah, Florida, conveniently situated close to the office. Upon arrival at the event, the team was greeted with warm appetizers and an open bar. Members were handed raffle tickets to later try their luck at winning prizes and excitedly lined up to take pictures at the photobooth.
Team members were able to take pictures on their own or as a group, and take a copy of the pictures as a keepsake with the company logo. As the evening progressed, the team was able to choose between a kosher, vegetarian or a very well-known typical Spanish dish, consisting of baked potatoes with parsley, roast beef and rice cooked with black beans. As dinner came to an end, VP of North American Operations, Elkhan Meirov, and General Manager, Ana Navarro, both went to the center of the stage and expressed their gratitude to the team. Together they made a toast, and the party began.
HR Business Partner, Jessica Castillo hosted the raffle where 4 lucky winners received prizes ranging from a Samsung Tablet to the latest household appliances like the Roomba Vacuum. The team was surprised by a local performance group called “La Hora Loca”, or “The Crazy Hour” when translated. A group of three performers, a drummer, a dancer, and a man on stilts stole the night with their great performance. They got all the members to the center of the dance floor to sing and dance.
The remainder of the evening was spent dancing to a live DJ and enjoying the atmosphere, which was a great reward for the Florida Team for all the hard work they had put in throughout the year to support the company and its operations. The members were beyond grateful and still to this day cannot stop talking about the amazing time they had.
