IEEE COMCAS is globally recognized as a premier conference in its field, attracting hundreds of manuscript submissions and uniting speakers from public, private, and academic sectors to explore the forefront of industry innovation.
For Mini-Circuits and MCDI, IEEE COMCAS holds special significance. Harvey Kaylie, our Mini-Circuits founder, was a catalyst, a staunch supporter of the conference’s establishment and growth from its inception. His dedication to its success is a legacy we proudly continue. This year, Mini-Circuits sponsored IEEE COMCAS 2024 as a SAPPHIRE PATRON, awarded grants for the Best Paper Awards to two deserving students, and sponsored the VIP dinner.

IEEE COMCAS 2024, the 9th International IEEE Conference on microwaves, communications, antennas, biomedical engineering, and electronic systems, provided a multidisciplinary forum for exchanging ideas, research, and industry experience. The event featured a robust technical program, industry exhibits, and presentations from global experts, including a keynote by our CEO, Jin Bains. Key topics included microwaves, communications and sensors, antennas, biomedical engineering, RF and microwave devices and circuits, thermal management, electronic packaging, signal processing, imaging, radar, acoustics, and microwave system engineering.
The conference was a resounding success, drawing over 1,600 participants, more than 100 exhibitors, and over 200 sessions.
Many challenges are faced in Israel. The previous IEEE COMCAS in 2021 occurred during the global COVID-19 crisis. This year, following the horrific terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023, Israel remains engaged in a daily multi-front war. Despite these obstacles, we successfully hosted this year’s exhibition.

Mini-Circuits’ Marketing Communications team supported MCDI in preparing designs, materials, brochures, and demo parts for the exhibition. Our team organized and presented at the event, with significant support from Mini-Circuits Israel.
Our booth, one of the largest, was a product of close collaboration between MCDI and Mini-Circuits’ Marketing team. The effort involved many key players across Mini-Circuits, Mini-Circuits Israel, and MCDI, showcasing our values of collaboration and friendship.
Our staff, including engineers, were on hand to welcome, assist, and demonstrate our product lines to all attendees. We also held a fun, prize-bearing game, challenging participants to guess the number of jellybeans in a jar. Engineers, with their various mathematical approaches and serious demeanor, particularly enjoyed this challenge.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success. We look forward to seeing you at the next IEEE COMCAS!
