As the year winds to a close and we all look forward to spending time with family and friends, it’s important to share the spirit of giving with those who need it most. For over 10 years, team members of Mini-Circuits’ Brooklyn offices have rallied together at holiday time to donate toys for pediatric patients at Kings County Hospital. The initiative gives comfort, a positive distraction, and motivation to recover for children hospitalized due to illness or injury during the holiday.

Mini-Circuits members shopped for new toys and left them at one of the company’s drop-off locations. Employees donated 124 items in total, which were delivered to the hospital before Christmas. Drive organizer and ERP Applications team member, Joan Hutton-Mills remarked that participants were especially proactive in the collection effort this year. Many departments set up their own collection boxes. Even our DEKRA auditor joined in the spirit and made a donation while on site during an ISO 14001 environmental audit.
Mini-Circuits thanks the organizers for coordinating another successful toy drive and all team members who contributed for perpetuating Mini-Circuits’ tradition of service to the community.
