Mini-Circuits members come to work every day for the camaraderie, collaboration—and, like anyone in any job, compensation. As Compensation Manager, Wyatt Allread’s role is one that every member at Mini-Circuits can appreciate.

No, Wyatt’s not necessarily managing and distributing paychecks himself. There’s much more to it than that.

“Compensation isn’t just a number on a paycheck,” Wyatt said. “It’s about making sure members understand everything that’s included—from base salary to bonuses, benefits, and long-term incentives—so they feel recognized for their contributions.”

Since joining Mini-Circuits in August 2024, Wyatt has been evaluating Mini-Circuits’ pay programs and bonus plans, while communicating with members to ensure clarity and career trajectory for everyone at the company. He’s collaborating closely with the HR team and executive leadership to develop holistic compensation plans that continue to position Mini-Circuits as an attractive place to work.

In large companies, compensation managers quietly but crucially contribute to a sense of fulfillment and engagement in the workplace. The role involves conducting market research to identify competitive salary ranges, assessing job roles for pay equity, and creating compensation strategies that align with broader company objectives. A compensation manager balances a company’s goals and its employees’ expectations, ultimately supporting talent retention, company culture, and both individual and organizational growth.

“Helping members understand not just their current compensation package but how it can grow with them and evolve with the market is key,” Wyatt said. “It creates a sense of stability and career progression. When people have clarity, they’re more engaged, more confident, and ready to invest in their daily work.”

Before joining Mini-Circuits, Wyatt specialized in administering compensation surveys, including for various manufacturing companies, at a leadership advisory firm. He then served as a compensation consultant for a tech company, which opened the door to a corporate role with WeWork. During several years at WeWork, Wyatt climbed as high as global compensation manager. To put that in perspective, WeWork had nearly 800 locations in 39 countries as of 2022. At Mini-Circuits, Wyatt enjoys the blend of strategic thinking and member collaboration that the company fosters.

“Mini-Circuits puts a strong emphasis on professional development,” Wyatt said. “It’s a place where growth is encouraged, not just for the company but for every member.”

Outside of work, Wyatt enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their seven-month-old son. He likes to stay active with skiing and running, and he has a nostalgic passion for retro video games. He’s even built his own home arcade with all the classic consoles and characters.

Wyatt’s knack for leveling up—whether in gaming or at work—continues to drive him forward. “It’s rewarding to know that I’m helping members see their value and envision long-term careers here,” he said. “The opportunity to shape how people feel about their futures at Mini-Circuits motivates me to keep striving for more, both for the team and the company.”
