To most members at Mini-Circuits, SharePoint might seem like just a place where files live. But for Netrangi Patel, it’s a platform full of potential.
As a Microsoft system administrator, Netrangi focuses on helping Mini-Circuits collaborate more efficiently by streamlining processes, building custom tools, and shaping the future of the company’s digital workspace. Whether it’s automating manual steps, managing permissions, or preparing for a global cloud migration, she approaches every task with one goal: to make things easier for her fellow team members.
Netrangi joined Mini-Circuits in January 2025 and quickly got to work optimizing SharePoint environments for the U.S. team. Much of her day-to-day centers around maintaining existing SharePoint sites, building new ones, and handling permissions across teams and libraries. She also works with Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook and Teams to ensure smooth functionality and integration.
Alongside daily maintenance, Netrangi has a major hand in organizational transformation. One of her biggest ongoing projects is helping Mini-Circuits shift from a traditional file system to a centralized, cloud-based environment. When SharePoint was first introduced to the company, she played a key role in migrating files from on-premises servers to the new platform. Now, she’s helping lay the groundwork for a larger move in unifying all Mini-Circuits regions under a single Microsoft tenant. The transition will involve thousands of files, users, and permissions, but to Netrangi, it’s an exciting challenge. “It’s a big opportunity to bring everything together,” she said. “With one environment, we’ll be able to simplify collaboration and remove a lot of roadblocks.”
Beyond infrastructure, Netrangi is also behind the automation of several internal workflows. Using Microsoft’s Power Automate tool, she creates streamlined systems that reduce manual work and speed up key processes. For example, she helped design an onboarding system for new employees as well as a travel request form that automatically routes approvals and syncs with calendars. “We used to handle things through email or spreadsheets,” she said. “Now we can automate those tasks, and everything is tracked, clean, and efficient.”
While these solutions run in the background, their impact is immediate. Members spend less time chasing approvals or managing logistics, and more time applying their expertise in their respective positions. That’s the kind of problem-solving Netrangi finds most rewarding.
Before joining Mini-Circuits, Netrangi built her expertise through years of SharePoint experience. She began her career as a data analyst but was soon tasked with managing SharePoint lists. That’s when she discovered a passion for the platform. “It started as something small,” she said. “Then I realized how powerful SharePoint could be. You can build real web applications that make work easier.”
Netrangi went on to work with major companies, developing both front-end solutions and back-end processes, before arriving at Mini-Circuits. She also became adept at using Power Automate to design flexible workflows without complex coding, skills that continue to fuel her work today.
Netrangi works out of Mini-Circuits’ headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. She commutes from Jersey City, New Jersey, where she enjoys the mix of suburban feel and vibrant city life. When she’s not solving technical puzzles, she’s traveling, attending events, or exploring professional conferences to keep up with new tools and trends.
“I love meeting people and talking about what’s possible with technology,” Netrangi said. “There’s always something new to learn and always a way to improve how we work together.”
For now, Netrangi’s focus remains on helping Mini-Circuits complete its cloud migration, roll out smarter tools, and build a more connected environment. As more members across the company engage with SharePoint and automated workflows, you may never know all the systems Netrangi has designed behind the scenes, but you’ll certainly see the difference in how smoothly things run.
