Mini-Circuits was honored to be invited to an aerospace and defense forum held by our rep, Enox Technologies. The event was held on October 1 at the Crowne Plaza Ankara in Turkey. This event saw its biggest turnout within the three years that Mini-Circuits has been partnering with them, and we earned some great exposure while attending.

From our U.S-based facilities, Erick Olsen (Global Marketing Manager) and Nick Chambers (Field Sales Engineer) hailing from the Mini-Circuits Europe (MCE) office attended the forum, and Olsen had the opportunity to present both a keynote and technical speech. His Keynote speech, titled “Mini-Circuits: The Company You Think You Know,” was aimed at updating attendees’ knowledge of Mini-Circuits as we’ve evolved quite a bit over the last few years. Our products are at the leading edge of technology and our product lines offer a vast array of different components. His technical speech touched on the company’s LTCC technology, and how it can be a great solution for advanced systems in defense technology.

With over 400 registrations and more than 300 people in attendance, Mini-Circuits was able to get great exposure to engineers and Aerospace and defense companies across Turkey. “Attending such a high-caliber event with rich content right here is a rare opportunity. Typically, we would need to travel to Europe or the US for this level of professional engagement,” said a manager from customer, ASELSAN.

In addition to the talks, there was also an expo available to attendees during the breaks in the presentations. Mini-Circuits was one of many exhibitors who set up a booth for a demo. The booth showcased test solutions, portable test equipment (PTE), large switch matrixes, benchtop test solutions, MMIC and surface mount products. Throughout the day, Mini-Circuits’ booth received great attention, with many engineers coming up to ask questions and get more information about our products.

“The event agenda and content were extremely valuable. The overall organization was highly successful,” said Oğuz Özüm, STM System Engineer, who attended the event.

Having the opportunity to attend a large, overseas event like Enox’s Aerospace and Defense Forum, with a lot of eyes on our latest innovations for the aerospace and defense market was invaluable. The turnout and conversations with visitors at our booth opened new opportunities and helped the business to grow in new markets.
